New Venture Driving Tuition is committed to providing professional, friendly and patient tuition to enable new drivers gain a skill for life. Paul Pritchard is a member of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA), Motor Schools Association (MSA), Leeds Driving Instructors Association (LDIA), Pontefract Driving Instructors Association (PDIA), Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), the ADI Federation and registered with the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) as a Pass Plus Instructor, and as such aims to uphold the high standards required by these associations.
NVDT Offer
Theory Test - Theory test study materials are available to purchase at a discounted rate, with some items being available to borrow for the duration of the required study time. FREE mock test papers are supplied to check the progress of learning. Either the pupil or the instructor can book the theory test by mutual agreement
Learning to Drive - Lessons are conducted in a professional and friendly manner. They can be of 1hr, 1.1/2hr or 2hr duration, subject to suitable times being available. During the build up to the driving test, lesson duration will need to be at least 1.1/2hrs to enable work to be done within the test areas. Lessons will be structured to suit the student’s ability and progress. Progress will be monitored by the use of a logbook and mock driving tests conducted as required to help the student prepare for the actual test.
'VideoDrive' - The car is also fitted with ‘VideoDrive', this is the latest technology and very new to the driving industry, where lessons can be recorded for the pupil to study at home, as well as being used in the car during lessons to review various situations that happen whilst driving.
Driving Test - The Instructor will book the driving test at an agreed time and place between him and the student. The session for the driving test will be of two and half-hours and will include a one-hour pre driving test lesson. The session may have to be extended if the agreed place of test is further than normal travelling time.
Further Driving Experience - Pass Plus is a scheme to help new drivers gain valuable experience, including motorway driving and is taken after the DSA driving test. It also offers the new driver a chance to obtain insurance discounts after completion of the course. Motorway lessons are available if the new driver does not wish to do the Pass Plus, the amount of time required for this is agreed with the Instructor.
The Cost - Lessons can be booked on an hourly rate, or by block booking to gain discounts.
Gift Vouchers - Gift vouchers are available on request from £10 upwards and can be used for payment of lessons or study materials.

Intensive Driving Course - This enables the learner to take several lessons in a week and by paying in advance, helps to cut the cost of learning..... This type of learning process can be helpful to the learning process by being in the car more frequently... Below is a list of available courses with approximate required standards required for each one....
Our Instructor will assess your driving skills and current experience. He will then discuss the times you are available and suggest the course that is right for you.
Terms and Conditions for Intensive Courses
The instructor reserves the right to refuse our vehicle for test in the event of a pupil not reaching the required standard. Booking the Course: 25% of the course fee is payable on booking and the balance is due at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement date of the course. There is no refund policy on these courses due to the instructor having to leave sufficient availability for the course. We cannot be held responsible for any test cancelled by the Driving Standards Agency.
